Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam is a registered non-profitable trust founded in the year 2000 in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh. This is an exclusive residential vedapatasala with modern amenities, located near the banks of holy river Godavari, at a very serene, calm and conducive environment. Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam has been founded by Brahma Sri Gullapalli Seetarama Chandra Murthy Ghanapathi. The Vedagurukulam has been educating young Brahmacharis in Vedas, Sastras and Sanskrit from the year 2000.
Vision :
- The preservation of our ancient culture and tradition with “Samskaras” to be as the most important essence of Oral Recitation of Vedas in Gurukula System.
- To promote Higher Vedic and Sastric studies such as Veda Bhashyam, Shadangam, Nyaya, Meemansa,Vedanta among the Vidyarthis who have completed basic studies.
- Sri Dattatreya Veda Vidya Gurukulam being a place to learn and acquire traditional knowledge in its truest form is known for abundance of vidwans for various shastras. We intend to aid and support the students who take up traditional shastras under the tutelage of guru of their choice.
The Vedagurukulam has spacious halls for the purpose of vedaadhyanam, Reading halls, Dining hall, Kitchen room, play ground, very well ventilated boarding facility with RO Water Plant.
